Membership Types
CHARTER PROVIDER MEMBERSHIP: This is open to owners, operators or managers of unlicensed and licensed supportive housing units, which have adopted the Association’s Standards of Service for all units, owned and/or operated and have passed the Peer Review process.
Annual dues are $120 per year, part of which is needed to cover the cost of inspections and the Peer Review Process.
BASIC PROVIDER MEMBERSHIP: This is open to existing or potential owners, operators or managers of supportive housing units. It offers the provider an opportunity to lean the craft of being a professional provider and to prepare for becoming a full Charter Member by subscribing and living by the Association’s Standards of Service and benefiting from such membership. All member services are available to the Provider Member.
Annual dues are $25 per year. Dues paid may be applied against dues for the Charter Provider membership when the member is accepted to that membership
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP: This is open to individuals, institutions or firms that wish to support the Association and the local Supportive Housing industry. All member benefits are available to this class of member.
Annual dues are $60 per year. For suppliers of services, interested parties, etc.
Reasons for Joining
INFORMATI0N: Ready access to information needed to operate a successful Supportive Housing program
TRAINING & EDUCATION: Access to programs designed for your Supportive Housing program, presented by professional Supportive Housing providers.
NETWORKING: Meeting and working with other Supportive Housing professionals at monthly membership meetings, committee meetings and BAASH events.
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE: Hands-on assistance in solving management, community relations, regulatory problems and other business problems.
CLIENT SOURCES: Access to mainstream treatment, transitional and public safety agencies looking for housing for their clients.
MARKETING: A place to market your program and services through BAASH web site, bus tours, referrals and events.
FUNDING SOURCES: Be part of the network of funding sources BAASH is building for small Supportive Housing recovery programs.
PROFESSIONAL STATURE: As a Charter Provider Member, be recognized as subscribing to a set of standards of service that is reviewed by industry peers.
PROFESSIONAL SERVICE PROVIDERS: As a member, have access to Associate Members who provide materials and services to Supportive Housing providers.
ADVOCACY: Be an advocate for good public policy that supports a Supportive Housing industry that provides safe affordable housing for persons in recovery.
